FischFright 3, the Halloween event for the Roblox fishing game Fisch, has been live since October 17, and its heart is four limited relics and skulls: Doomed, Grim, Vile and Eldritch. The relics enchant rods and unlock the exclusive mutations required to complete event quests; the skulls are the main ingredient of the cemetery rituals. This guide lays out the four paths to get every piece: fishing at the Frightful Pools, Trick or Treat, island quests and the Dutchman Merchant's shop — with prices and details confirmed by Pro Game Guides, the official Fisch Wiki and the patch notes roundup.

"In FischFright 3, players must collect all four Relics & Skulls to perform various Rituals or get special rod mutations to finish certain Event quests."

Quote from the Pro Game Guides guide, quoted verbatim.

The four relics and what they do

Each variant exists in two forms: the relic, used to enchant rods, and the skull, used in cemetery rituals. The detail that changes the hunt: in this edition the relics are also limited fish — the Fisch Wiki confirms they can be caught with a rod, that each specimen pays C$ as a bestiary item, and that the Grim, for example, has a 21 kg base weight and a 2,500 C$ value. Their final destination, though, is the altar: enchanting with each relic applies permanent passives and the chance of the same-named mutation demanded by event quests.

Here is what every enchantment does to your rod:

Relic Mutation Passives on the enchanted rod
Grim10% chance of Grim+25% initial progress speed; −10% resilience
Vile10% chance of Vile+10% forced progress; −10% fish size
Doomed10% chance of Doomed−0.15 control; tiny, inconsistent progress cuts
Eldritch10% chance of Eldritch50% chance the fish icon returns on its own; copies one trait from the other relics per session

On the balance, the Eldritch is the most valuable — it costs three times more and is the only passive that relieves the control minigame —, but all four are demanded in different amounts through the cemetery quests: none of them can be left out of the inventory.

Fishing: the Frightful Pools

The cheapest route is the rod: each variant has its own Frightful Pool, and fishing at the right pool targets the relic and skull of the same name. Want the Doomed? Set up base at the Doomed Frightful Pool. Preferred conditions also matter: the Fisch Wiki lists autumn (Autumn), night, Jack-o-Moon weather and the Black Licorice bait for the Grim — and the logic repeats across the other variants, each with its own bait from the event's candy catalog.

For followers of Fisch, the pattern is familiar from big updates, with conditional fish lists and new species — like the rare Divine Secrets fish guide and the Skycrest update, with the hunt for the legendary Abaia. The same rulebook applies: right conditions, right bait, patience for the rare catches.

The counterweight of fishing is true rarity: nobody has a guaranteed chance at the pool, and the relics remain hard-stat fish — 1,500 XP of bestiary value per specimen, on the Grim's page.

Trick or Treat: better masks and haunted houses

The second route is candy door to door across the Caustic Hallow. Pro Game Guides recommends wearing a superior mask before knocking on houses — the Leviathan Mask or Mossjaw Mask, both for 1,500 Treats at the merchant's shop. The cost eats into your Treats, but the high reward potential justifies the spend: relics and skulls can come from any door.

There is a decisive detail: the house with a glowing logo on the door number is always haunted. Knock there and a ghost minigame begins; capture the entity and you are teleported to the Astral Plane with a guaranteed rare reward — relics and skulls possibly included. The Fisch Wiki lists a 0.5% chance for the Doomed Relic per Trick or Treat round: it is low, but it complements the rod route.

Island quests: the Scarecrow Maze

The Caustic Hallow concentrates dozens of NPCs with quests, and some of them pay rare pieces on top. The most profitable example cited by the guide: appeasing the six scarecrows of the Scarecrow Maze rewards you with the Vile Relic and the Doomed Skull guaranteed. If the Vile is your goal, prioritize the maze before spending Treats — it is the cheapest of the four routes.

Cemetery rituals: where the skulls fit

The skulls have a fixed destination: the Haunted Cemetery rituals. The ritual guide from Pro Game Guides documents, for example, a table that combines event items — the Dark Art Skull as an item, any 2026 edition skull-fish, Jack-o-Lanterns and Skeletal Hands — to pay an Eldritch Relic plus a second random relic between Grim, Vile and Doomed. Other tables demand mutated fish from the event itself, like the Gargoyle Grouper with the Grim mutation.

The math is direct: skulls in hand, ritual set up, extra relics with no rod touch at all. If luck did not come at the pool or the shop, completing rituals with leftover skulls is the path of the unhurried hunter.

Dutchman Merchant shop: the exact prices

For those who prefer buying over fishing, the Dutchman Merchant sells relics directly — and getting there is a small mission of its own: use Gravity Coil or Glider to reach the flying ship. The price list is:

Treats, the event currency, come from Trick or Treat and the activities of the Caustic Hallow — and, with infinite shop stock, it is the guaranteed route to the Eldritch Relic without depending on rod luck. Treats income grows with better masks and the haunted houses of the previous route.

Caustic Hallow in context

The 2.06.0 update, from October 17, brought beyond the relics new quest lines, companions, rods, items and the full Treats economy of the Caustic Hallow. By the standard of previous events, including Skycrest, the menu is denser than past editions — and the Fisch Wiki keeps a dedicated event page with updated catch-chance tables for anyone going for the full 44-fish bestiary.

With the four routes mapped, the attack order depends on your profile: the patient fisher heads to the Frightful Pools; the Treats collector aims for the Dutchman shop; and the quest hunter starts at the scarecrow maze. On any route, note the fishing conditions, save the masks for the doors and bring a friend — as the game's official account asked, the event plays better in pairs.
